A plan that makes sense

So I'm writing in my kitchen and may have to be here for some time as the floor is covered in grocery bags from BK's recent shopping trip. He was giddy with the excitement of finding a meat wholesaler that sells to the common man. Apparently, Bk has taken it upon himself to cook every night through monday, this is a far cry from the bryan who last week announced that he might be done with making dinners. I'm glad that resolve quickly evaporated.

As the bulk of this readership has no doubt noticed, its gotten cold in Chicago. This has became most apparent to me this morning as 20 minutes after I got to work I realized that my hair was sticking up like alfalfa's. A natural result of wearing a hat I suppose. Hopefully some time this winter the alfalfa look will have caught on with the business set and I won't have to worry about it anymore.

---2 day break in the writing

So I just finished watching Studio 60, its good, I like it. It makes me want to write. All good things. The Bears game was something else. Of course the moment I walk away in disgust (about the 4th INT) is a play before the bears return the fumble for the TD. Tough game though, I expect 3 people died in Chicago b/c of Bears related Heart Attacks. Its awesome though, I got the sense the defense was like "fuck it! we can win without an offense, we just have to keep them off the field." mentality. Anyway, the weekend was fun. I think I'm going to try and start running to try and abrogate the effects of my current high calorie, delicious, food centered lifestyle. But of course that will most likely not happen. Oh well.

It was fun to hang out with meagles, JW, LH, and all the others who came over for football and food last night. Hopefully y'all take the hint and come over more often.

The King of Chicago

Just watched the bears score a lot of points against the defending NFC super bowl representatives; that was fun. Long passes, to obvious receivers, who catch the ball, Frankly I don't know if Chicago is ready, but i'm sure that we'll all appreciate it in time.

Well I survived my trip to Arizona, which is very hot even in late september and managed to have a very nice dinner with my cousin and her husband. Her 16 month old son was also there but was hanging out with the wait staff for most of the meal.

Got back to Chicago and played fall league on 2 bad hammies. Was fortunate to surivive RR's throws to me with nothing worse than a popped out lense and a sore jaw. Though of course I can't be mad at RR, he's the only confirmed reader of this space that I've had in the past month or so. Got to hang out a bit with RT over the weekend, which was nice, although much of it was during a Lost marathon that I've begun, trying to become current on the show before it starts up again this week. I have 2 discs left to watch after watching 8 episodes in about 12 hrs. That was fun.
