Dead Men see no Ghost Dogs

Saturday's sprin league games went rather well. We allowed a combined 3 points to be scored on us and I got the satisfaction of beating some illinois players, who I never was able to beat in college. Karma was maintained as the two teams I was pulling for in the tourney, GM and LSU were ousted. Yes I know I made a big tadoo about supporting UCLA in my last post, but once George had no chance at glory, I ceased in my support of a southern california based team.

Have seen a few offbeat movies recently. Dead Man and Ghost Dog most notably. They were both very fun movies to watch. The first stars Johnny Depp as a misplaced accountant in the wild west, who utters an amazing bad ass line before he shoots one particular character. Ghost Dog stars Forest Whitaker as an urban samurai, need I say more. I also saw A History of Violence and The WeatherMan, both of which I enjoyed, though AHOV I think is easily the superior of the two.

That's about it for now, I wish I had a little more whimsy in my present mood but a man shouldn't force what he can't feel. And so there it is.
