I'll post when I fucking want to

So today or yesterday, I'm not sure, Someone with more magic, juggling, and ultimate ability than sense, (ok, a good amount of sense too) said I needed to post more. Well, I haven't been drunk, and no amount of sober resolve to post is equal to a drunken inclination. So here I am.

So the past week at work, my office has become a bit of a phone bank for the Republicans. This is due to the major principals of the company being rather big Republican backers. Today, a US congressman came in to the office to thank the people who had been helping him out. Two people, apparently thinking our office could double as a kennel, brought their dogs. At one point the dogs started growling at each other which prompted the dear congressman to turn to me and say, "it's really a dog fight in here." So there you have it, the first words ever said to me personally by a national representative, were quite literally about a possible dog fight. Also when a strange woman came in she walked down the hallway making a lot of cutesy noises about a "precious" or "ragamuffin" or "beautiful," I naturally assumed she was talking about me and was getting uncomfortable. Later I realized she had to be addressing one the two dogs. Anyway, weird day at work. Lots of strangers about.

In other news we had our fall league tournament last saturday. Public News Team suffered from the lack of some of our key pledge drivers but still did ok, finishing a respectable 9th or so. I played awesomely as always. We lost to Gary's team, which means I was knocked out of title contention in every league I played in this year by a Gary Ledonne led team. Fuckin' Gary's teams. Oh well.

I'm beginning to think very seriously about getting a touring bike for next summer so I can ride around and look at stuff in an energeticly efficient manner. Fun times, you all are invited to join me.

Today I went to Piece where I told Bryan I would be going to Acalpulco, and so should you by the way. We were there officially for the celebration of 4 chicago teams going to nationals. I was there really to hang out with Lyrica and Jason. Oh well, perhaps this weekend?

Anything else? nope. Well maybe, I've watched a bit of da ALI G show recently, its quite hysterical. Though I have not and will not see Borat in theatres. But the new 007 movie, Yes! Who's in? I'm in. Fuck yeah!
