Daybreak. Chicago.

Last night was the surprise going away party for KC. After JC let us all down and failed to get KC to stay at Piece, He, Thor, and I took him over to smoque to eat while people arrived and the house got set up. What followed was your typical evening of revelry and merriment, with a few funny events that I can't talk about here. "Than what's the point of blogging?" you ask. A fair question, I guess, and one among many that I don't care to answer.

I along with Phil, Claire, Schultz, and Bjorn won a best of 7 flip cup competition, 4-3. Though Akira threw the second to last game so that Liz and Claire would have to kiss again. Good man. A dance party then commenced, sort of, and I handedly won the distinguished, best dancer in a pink shirt award, handed out by the inimitable TH.

This morning I woke up to the sounds of MK cleaning away, and I went out to say hi and thank you, before returning to bed; because I'm polite as well as lazy. BK, with MK's able help, is currently in the process of browning beef, boar, and venison for tomorrow's chili. We all tried some of the venison, it was very good. I'm very excited for the chili and for the future when the remaining venison is grilled.

In other news since I last posted, thanksgiving was nice, xmas came and went (thankfully), New Year's was fun, I went to mexico, broke my toe, and went to a sweet discotech in acalpulco. I believe that a walking beer schtick tournament might actually happen this year, we'll see. I took part in starting a food blog. Here and have since contributed nothing.

I'm ready for the Super Bowl, while I will of course root for the bears, since some rather comical Colts' fans will be in attendance, it should be fun if either team wins. And we have about an entire keg left over from last night, so our little party should not lack for inebriation. Well, that's all I got. Check out the other blog some time. I may write there eventually, especially if I take up guerilla gardening.
